All pulling together and in the same direction.
Vibrant Black communities with a strong Black economy.
The Greater Rochester Black Business Alliance advocates for the attraction, creation, stability, growth, sustainability, and general wellbeing of Black businesses across the Greater Rochester area.
We act as a catalyst to enhance the process of doing business with Black businesses — and collaborate across a broad network of strategic partners to foster economic activity in the Black community.
For more than a decade, Paula Howard has served Rochester through Paula Howard Essentials®: a trademarked boutique specializing in custom fragrances, essential oils, natural hair care products, and hand-dipped incense made with high-quality natural ingredients.
Through creativity, quality products, and personalized service, Paula has built a loyal customer base in the community which has expanded nationally.
Paula also serves the Greater Rochester Black Business Alliance as Chair of the Program Committee, helping shape programs that support and strengthen local entrepreneurs.
