Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Common legal insights regarding Texas Real Estate, Probate, and Corporate Law.

Probate proceedings in Harris County generally range from 3 to 6 months for uncontested estates with a valid Will. Intestate estates (without a Will) or matters requiring heirship determination may take longer depending on court scheduling and estate complexity.

A standard commercial closing requires a Purchase and Sale Agreement (PSA), Special or General Warranty Deed, Title Insurance Commitment, Bill of Sale for personal property, and Closing Disclosure statements.

While Texas law doesn't strictly mandate filing an Operating Agreement with the Secretary of State, it governs member ownership percentages, profit distribution, voting rights, and liability protection. Banking institutions also require it to open corporate accounts.

I offer structured in-person consultations at my Houston Heights office as well as secure virtual or telephone consultations. During the initial review, I evaluate your case details, clarify legal options, and establish transparent fee terms.
