RUNG was born out of a desire to break away from traditional fashion printing. We sought to bring gallery-inspired art directly to the wearer. "Rung" means color, and our brand is a tribute to the emotion that vibrant hues evoke.
The Artist
Every stroke is intuitively placed by the artist. Drawing deeply from a background in fine arts and a love for Urdu literature, the creator behind RUNG treats every silk canvas as a profound personal expression.
The Process
From stretching the raw silk to mixing bespoke dyes, the process is painstakingly slow and deliberately unhurried. Each piece goes through multiple layers of hand-painting, curing, and steaming.
